Felicini

Well I have just returned from a very pleasant evening at Felicini's where I have to say I really enjoyed myself. As soon as I walked into the restaurant I felt that I was likely to feel comfortable and relaxed and have a good time and indeed I wasn't disappointed. In my opinion the service was very efficient, prompt but allowing time us time to decide and the choice of food was excellent. The only downside for me was the slightly pricey wine and lack of desserts that didn't contain dairy but having said that eating dessert would have just made me greedy and would have added to the bill.
I feel that the WREC has truly got into its stride now, we have a wine connoisseur (not sure which diner no. he is) but this is proving to be the easiest and most successful option when deciding what wine to have with the meal. Despite my misgivings I think that once again the WREC will be going backwards down the Wilmslow road to sample food from another 'highly recommended' restaurant but bearing in mind that one of the reasons for starting the group was to make sure that we got out at least once a month, what the hell as long as we're eating and away from children, does it really matter that we're not storming our way in a northerly direction up the Wilmslow road?

Fat Loaf or not?

I have to say I'm most tempted as well by a fine looking menu. However as one of the past ringleaders in persuading us all to take a step back to Loch Fyne (for the first eventful visit) I'll keep out of this debate and go with the flow.
